After a Simple breakfast (coffee and a Bagel) Cape Town Dive Centre take customers snorkeling in the kelp Forest close to where they filmed MY OCTOPUS TEACHER.
Included is the wetsuit, goggles, fins, snorkel and professional dive master guide. timing is weather dependent.
Snorkeling ITINERARY 9am start, 2/3 hours:
1. Let’s start with a warm welcome at the Dive site which can be reached as you travel out of Simons Town towards Cape Point. We start by briefing you on the location for the tour, answering any questions & providing information on what to expect at the snorkel site. The location is always accessible from shore & chosen with your utmost enjoyment, safety & ease in mind. We can easily gear-up and simply walk in ! Easy as pie to access the ocean, you will love it !

Guests are welcome to bring their own disposable under water camera (available on Takealot) to capture their own experience.
2. We provide you with a quality wetsuit & snorkel gear to keep you snug & warm. We bring a big yellow buoy for visibility & for you to hold on to if a little more reassurance is required. You can grab on if you get tired and you will be able to keep track of the Divemaster at all times, as this is secured to the group tour leader.
3. It’s time for your SNORKEL ADVENTURE! Come and explore the Wild African Sea Forest in a marine protected area. We will be exploring the incredible kelp forest and possibly encounter one or more of the following: schools of fish, seals, penguins, small sharks, octopus & other curious sea creatures & animals.
4. We debrief whilst we reflect on our shared ocean adventure!
If they have young members of the Family, who want to snorkel only (outing for children who can swim), then we will do this in the tidal pool at Millers Point
The cost is the same.
Or if adults are not comfortable going into the ocean, they can do the snorkel in the tidal pool if preferred.
