Petra has been having a fine time searching out new burrows in Neolithic ruins (Sligo county) and investigating prime beaches on Achill island. She’s not so sure about this ‘summer’ Irish weather thing – it’s a bit like a good winter in Cape Town! – puffer jackets in a sunny day…and then there are the midges which she thought were Scottish but seem to have caught up on the Irish west coast too- they are like miniature mosquitoes en mass and come out when the weather is good🤣🐧
she thought she was home only to discover Ireland also has a table mountain😅
